Career and Technical Education
What is Career Technical Education (CTE)? It is a program of study that involves a multiyear sequence of courses that integrates core academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers. Los Alamitos Unified School District currently has seven career pathways available for our students. They include: Biomedical, Computer Science, Emergency Response (ROP), Engineering, Film and Television Production, Sports Medicine, and Technical Theatre.
