Leader Information

Link Crew consists of a group of highly trained and capable high school students who are anxious to work in welcoming the Freshmen Class to Los Alamitos High School.
Each summer, these students work exceptionally hard in preparing the Freshmen Orientation Program to help ensure a warm, welcoming transition for your Freshmen student as they begin their own four-year stay here at Los Alamitos High School.


  • Thursday June 2nd, 2022 - Information Meeting in PAC during lunch
  • Monday, June 6th, 2022 - Information Meeting in 153/154 during lunch
  • Tuesday, August 9, 2022 – Link Crew (Mandatory) Training Day
  • Wednesday, August 10, 2022 - Link Crew (Mandatory) Training Day
  • TBD – Freshman Orientation


REQUIREMENTS for the Link Leaders:

  1. Must be a current Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior 
  2. Submit a Link Leader application
  3. Submit 2 Teacher Recommendations
  4. GPA 2.5 or above


Each year there are dedicated Link Leaders who want to be in charge of coordinating the program and its goals throughout the year.  6-8 students are selected to be Link Crew commissioners and they are in charge of coordinating ALL of the Link Crew activities for the whole school year.  

REQUIREMENTS for the Commissioners:

  1. Must have been a Link Leader before
  2. Submit a Link Commissioner application
  3. Submit 2 Teacher Recommendations
  4. GPA 3.0 or above
  5. May not have a leadership position on ASB
