Community Service
As part of our commitment to fostering leadership, responsibility, and community engagement, Los Alamitos High School encourages all students to participate in community service throughout their high school experience.
Students will use the Community Service Log above to record their volunteer hours. Students may begin logging hours starting the first day of their Freshman year, and the log will remain active until May 1st of their Senior year, when it is due for submission. If May 1st falls on a Friday, logs may be turned in the following Monday.
Graduation Recognition
Students who complete community service throughout their high school years are eligible to receive special graduation cords:

100 hours – White Cord

500 hours – Silver Cord

1,000 hours – Gold Cord
